procrastination station

stasis:

hey bloggie. i woke up around 9:45 this morning and have accomplished very little... or at least it feels that way. its very warm in philly today- so i am taking it easy in the heat. so far: i've made the bed, cleaned the dishes, watered the plants, made & ate breakfast, collected my readings for today and put them in a pile in the living room, answered emails & phone calls, and watched parts of "cloud 9" from last summer nostalgically. so. not super productive. for the rest of the early afternoon i plan to read lots lots lots of readings, take a shower, if i have time maybe go for a jog (but it is HOT today), and then i'm gonna pick up ror & head to my favorite place in the whole world-- trader joe's! then tonight he's coming to my show. i can't remember being so excited to do a show for someone-- except probably opening when my incredible mom surprised me! i whine because i'm burnt out from school- but i do LOVE annie beyond measure. and i'm really weeding out the whines and getting back to the gratitude. its a process- but it can be done.

song of the day:

"wash away" joe purdy

daily zen:

Precisely the least, the softest, lightest, a lizard's rustling,
a breath, a flash, a moment - a little makes the way
of the best happiness.
- Frederich Nietzsche, Thus Spake Zarathustra

5 things:
